The United Nations Human Rights Council has broken its silence on the Hamas terrorist organization's merciless killings of Israeli civilians and their captivity considering it deplorable. Similarly, the United Arab Emirates has also denounced the heinous attacks by the terrorist organization Hamas and labeled the abduction of Israeli citizens as shocking

While support for Israel is pouring in from all over the world, the Congress Party is refraining from commenting on this issue. Legislator Dr. Rajeshwar Singh has strongly criticized the Indian National Congress INC for remaining silent on the brutal actions of Hamas. He referred to it as a case of selective Muslim appeasement and expressed disappointment in Congress's failure to condemn the Nazi-like behavior of Hamas, which has targeted innocent men women and children during their unwarranted attacks on Israel

In a sharp statement Dr. Singh questioned Is it because only a Nazi / fascist sympathiser can condone this heinous barbarism  that is being meted out to the innocent men, women and children of Israel who were attacked unprovoked on there sacred holiday

He emphasized the Congress Party's responsibility to advocate for the unconditional release of prisoners held under Hamas control. Dr. Singh advised Congress to take a more principled stance on this issue and not succumb to political appeasement

Regarding the march organized by students from Aligarh Muslim University in support of Hamas and against Israel Dr. Rajeshwar Singh deemed it unnecessary. He said that the students of AMU should have first condemned the brutal attacks by Hamas on women and children. As a prominent institution it is their duty to uphold the ideals of the Indian Constitution and they should refrain from engaging in marches and hooliganism

Dr. Singh emphasized the importance of gathering intelligence information stating that it has been crucial for every government since ancient times. He even mentioned that Kautilya s Arthashastra dating back to 300 BCE, has a chapter on secret agents and espionage campaigns highlighting its significance for rulers. Failure is not a good sign, and intelligence networks around the world need improvement

There should be a balance between human intelligence and electronic intelligence gathering. There is a need for a global intelligence-sharing network, and the most important thing is that these agencies should be operated by highly capable and dedicated individuals. These agencies spend billions of dollars and have thousands of personnel. Intelligence failure is not acceptable
