In the wake of the recent terrorist attacks in Israel which have been condemned worldwide, Prime Minister Modi expressed solidarity, stating that our thoughts and prayers are with the innocent victims and their families. He emphasized India's unity with Israel during these challenging times

Addressing the global rise in terrorist attacks and ruthless acts against innocent civilians, BJP MLA from Sarojininagar  Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, has voiced his concerns. Taking to social media, Dr. Singh underscored the significance of mandatory military training for every Indian, considering historical events and current global circumstances.

Dr. Singh stated The time has come for mandatory military training for every citizen This is a lesson we must learn from history and current global situations  He elaborated on India's long history of facing invasions and attacks from various forces, including the Mughals, British Turks Portuguese French and Mongols. He emphasized that as a consequence of these invasions, India endured centuries of subjugation and lost the lives of 300 million Indians

Dr. Singh highlighted post-independence terrorist attacks such as the 1985 Air India Kanishka bombing and the 2008 Mumbai attacks where hundreds lost their lives. He stressed that India continues to face threats and referred to global figures, stating that in 2022 alone, 3955 lives were lost due to terrorist attacks worldwide

Dr. Singh's call for mandatory military training is driven by certain vulnerabilities and nuclear-armed neighboring countries in India. He emphasized the need to prepare future generations mentally and physically to tackle these challenges
